Log Home Rebuild: Redwood Valley, CA

Another victim of the devastating Santa Rosa fires, this under construction log home will hopefully bring it’s owners much happiness. Taking their needs and budgetary concerns in mind, this home was designed by Larry Trimboli with 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, and just under 1700 sq ft of living space.

The Redwood rebuild features 7×10 jumbo D cedar log – hand-peeled exterior with hand-hewn interior and matching siding for garage & breezeway. 8×8 & 10×10 hand-hewn posts & headers give the home a stately appearance and the large timber rail loft will provide plenty of storage space for the owners.

Sierra Log & Timber has been great to work with. Sandi was impressed the day she first talked to Larry on the phone and he chewed her ear off for a good hour. I myself was also impressed the day he came out to our burned-out lot on a Saturday and sketched up exactly what we wanted and sent us rough drawings that Monday. When people said Larry was a "Book of Knowledge" that was the truth! He was always responsive to my questions early in the mornings as I knew he was hard at work early as I was. The little home Sandi and I fixed up before the fire we always called our cabin. It has always truly been a dream for Sandi and me to have a log cabin. We were truly lucky to have found Larry as he is one-of-a-kind to be able to design such incredible beautiful structures! Sandi and I have had nothing but compliments on our new home! It has been truly amazing all the people that have stopped and took pictures and said how nice it is. We have been told we have the nicest house in Redwood Valley.
