The walls and gable are solid Cedar wood (incense cedar) of the height and pitch chosen. The surface texture for all the log choices offered are always hand peeled (for rounded surfaces) and hand hewn (for timber surfaces) for that natural comfortable look & feel.

The wall & gable logs are precut using the “sierra smart cut method & panel drawings” (see sample of panel drawings below).

All log walls have a precut corner notch. Timber & D logs have a “dovetail” style and the round logs have a “saddle notch” style of notch.

The roof ridge defaults to a double ridge with the matching posts. The parts are always hand peeled or hand hewn. If your desire is to use an “engineered truss” (not included) then you would choose “none” from the ridge drop down box.
